BAFTAs 2014

bafta2b

This year’s BAFTAs have now been awarded. So how do the winners measure up?

On the 12th of January I published this post on the BAFTA nominations. Gravity, Philomena, American Hustle and 12 Years a Slave were the big winners, and a special mention for Frozen as winner of Best Animation needs to be made (expect a One-Line Synopsis of that in a few days!). But honestly this year, so many good films were nominated that with each award came a sense that it was well deserved by the winner but also by many of the nominees.

Aside from the big prizes, I can’t tell you how just it felt to see American Hustle win the award for Best Make up and Hair! It was inevitable…

High rollers indeed.
